Q – Who is the HappyPlayBus?

A – We are a family run business based in Bristol who want to provide safe, secure and exciting fun for children in the South West at a reasonable cost throughout the year. Our aim is to give your child a party to remember without the mess in your own home!

Q – Are the HappyPlayBus Staff vetted?

A – Yes. All our staff hold a current CRB check. We also hold Health & Safety qualifications and certificates, Food Safety & Hygiene certificate and National Play Bus Association Membership. All documentation is available upon request.

Q – Do you cover my area?

A – We are based in Bristol. We cover North Somerset, Bristol, South Glos and surrounding areas. A mileage surcharge of £1.50 per mile will be added if the HappyPlayBus travels outside of a 5 mile radius starting from BS4 5NL.

Q – How much does it cost?

A – See our website for our current prices. Your booking can only be confirmed once a £50 deposit (non refundable) has been received. The final balance must be paid in full 7 days prior to the booked date. Payment can be made in a number of ways, Paypal via our website, cheque or cash.

Q – How long does a party on the HappyPlayBus last for?
A – Parties last for an hour and a half as standard. If you wish to extend this, you can add extra time for £30 per half hour.

Q – How do I book the HappyPlayBus for a specific date and what do I need to do?

A – Very simple; either call or email us with a date you wish and we will check availability. All you need to do is pay a £50 deposit at time of booking.

Q – How many children can the HappyPlayBus hold at any one time?

A – The HappyPlayBus can comfortably entertain up to 18 children at any one time.

Q – Does the HappyPlayBus carry any passengers?

A – Our play bus has retired from carrying passengers and now provides stationery fun for children all over the South West.

Q – What does the driver do?

A – The driver is responsible for the safety of the bus whilst parked.

Q – Is there any food or drink allowed on the HappyPlayBus?

A – Yes! We can provide food and drink for your party or alternatively you can provide your own! We would ask that all food and drink be consumed in the designated eating area on the top deck.

Q – Do I need to provide anything on the children’s special day?

A – 2 Adults must be on the bus at all times to supervise the children (See Terms & Conditions for more information).

Q – What insurances does the HappyPlayBus hold?

A – We hold all appropriate insurances for the nature of the business including full public liability insurance which has been approved by the National Play Bus Association. If requested, we can provide documentation on arrival of the bus to anyone who asks.

Q – How often is the bus cleaned?

A – The HappyPlayBus is cleaned after every outing inside and out.

Q – What is the HappyPlayBus used for?

A – The HappyPlayBus is here to provide excellent entertainment to children aged up to 8 years old. We are available for a number of occasions including birthday parties, school events, nurseries, charity fundraisers, weddings, supermarket car parks and council events..

Q – Can the HappyPlayBus attend my stag or hen party?

A – Sorry, the HappyPlayBus is for children only!
